Rolling out of bed to find my sneakers laced up
All the birds are crooning in the morning dew of the trees
I'm making my way to the campus kitchen
Past the D&H, and my imagination's
Got me humming music I've never heard of before
Inspiration's got me thinking
All my troubles always sinking fast
I can remember when I felt this way before

Like when I kissed you for the first time in my car behind the pond
Or like when I would Jesus in the bathroom of a hotel room alone
